Captain Liz CHARGES!! It was cool to see her really get after it with the guys, absolutely fearless. This day was playful and the bottom was mellower than some of the other spots we surfed so everyone was really going for it, especially Liz. She would never claim anything, she lets her actions do the talking, which is why she is who she is I guess. She was definitely a good person to have on board; she even gave Gerry a run for his money in Scrabble!

We had a good run of swell and were able to test out some bigger boards that Fletch has been working on. Mostly quad setups. Here's Fletch on a fun one, getting to feel out how this board goes. Since this swell he's built about 6 more and sent them to Hawaii and Mav's to get more feedback.

After 18 days of being on a boat trip with 4 goofy footers you start to think that you're the goofy one for being regular footed....until you find a right and then everything starts to make sense again. Devon was on this wave quicker than anyone and snagged a few good ones right off the bat.

Keith was really getting after it this session. It was on day two or three so everyone was fully rested and ready to go. That shirt Keith is wearing is a new fabric that we're thinking of using for sun shirts, he was stoked on it. There's video of this that will probably come out in the next electronic surf catalog this spring.
