Mercedes Maidana drops into a big one at Waimea on 12/9/2009. Meti has been testing our suits for awhile in Chile (she ran an R4 at Lobos) and Hawaii and so far the word is is that our Women's Patagonia R2 wetsuits work great in big surf!

Patagonia friend, Dave Homcy, sent this picture in via his phone. He fit all of this trash in the pocket of his Wavefarers. I think we need bigger pockets to clean up the mess we've made. It would be cool though if everyone came home with this much trash every time they went to the beach. The AMRF could definitely use the help!

Hear of his many adventures around the globe paddleboarding, tow-in surfing, big-wave surfing and big-wave stand up paddleboarding.
